Stupid Simple Scrumptious Granola XD

I've made this granola countless times and it never really turns out the same :P Im not very specific about it and generally just use whatever I can find lying around my kitchen.
This recipe goes SPLENDIDLY with some Greek Yoghurt, Honey and Fruit (like Strawberries, Apple and Bananas) :P
Hope you enjoy it!!!!

The Basic Granola....

Ingredients....
1. 3 Cups Rolled oats
2. 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
3. 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
4. 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
5. 1/3 Cup Honey
6. 1/4 Cup Oil
7. 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence

Method....
1. you will need to preheat your oven to about 150*C or 300*F
2. Line two baking trays with baking paper and set aside
3. Combine all of your dry ingredients (Oats, Brown Sugar, Cinnamon and Salt)
4. In a second bowl combine all of your liquid ingredients (Honey, Oil and Vanilla Essence)
5. Pour the liquid ingredients over the dry.
If you don't mind getting a little messy then use your hands to really rub the ingredients together. Otherwise use a cutting motion with a spoon or knife.
6. Divide the mixture between the two trays and spread thinly to the edges
7. Bake for about 15-20mins

Getting creative with your Granola....

Ingredient (Ideas)....
1. Dried fruit
2. Crushed Nuts....I put them in a plastic bag and then vent a bit
of stress with the dough roller :P
3. Seeds ...Pumpkin, Sunflower, Sesame and Flaxseed (don't bake the flaxseed just
sprinkle them over at the end)
4. Coconut

(Clockwise from 12:00 - Crushed Almonds & Brazil Nuts, Coconut, Flaxseed, Mixed seeds & sultanas and Sesame Seeds
Centre - Sliced Dried Apricot)

Method....
1. Take the two trays out of the oven and put the mixtures back into one bowl
2. Stir in your selected ingredients
3. Separate the mixtures and spread out onto the trays
4. Bak for another 20-30 mins...until the mixture is slightly golden (not brown....it will
go too crispy)
5. Take out of the oven to cool and then add it to some Yoghurt and fruit :D
6. Enjoy !!

Face Mask Haul ....Stocking Up On My Favourite Drugstore Brands XD

Recently I ran out of all of my face masks, which is horrible timing because my skin is throwing a tantrum at the moment. Sad Panda! So I took myself into the nearest Priceline and stocked up on some of my favourite (and a couple new) drugstore masks.

I keep all of my Face Masks (the ones that don't need to be refrigerated) in this little blue  Christmas box from Kikki.K. Because I love to experiment different masks depending on my mode and the condition of my skin these single applications packets are perfect for me and fit nice and snug in this little box.

P.S you can actually get 2-3 applications out of some packs depending on how much you use. If you have some left over just seal it in a plastic bag (so it doesn't dry out) and stick it in the fridge....this also makes the mask nice and cool which is especially nice in summer and soothing to irritated skin.

This Blemish Mud is great for around "that time of the month" when my skin becomes very temperamental and I have an abundance of breakouts. Its got Witch Hazel , Aloe Vera, Mediterranean Clay, Dead Sea Salt, Green Tea Leaf Extract and so many other lovely ingredients

This Sauna Masque feels absolutely wonderful and so soothing on the skin. It is a self heating mask that doesn't set dry, so you retain the ability to speak with this mask. Its also so great for bringing those nasty breakouts to the surface.

Creamy Coconut is a gentle hydrating mask that dries almost clear (so there is a lot of moisturising being absorbed into the skin which is fan-blooming-tastic)

This Passion Peel Off Mask is my favourite at the moment. My skin feels as
soft as a babies butt after using this and my pores almost disappear. It is just sensational. Its got some wonderful ingredients including Vitamin E, Caster Oil, Pomegranate extract, Aloe Vera and Passionflower extract. However I have found that my eyes are sensitive to the smells/fumes in this formula, so don't apply it too close!

No Time To Shine is probably my favourite mask for oil control. So if you have a big night
coming up and you are worried that you are going to look like a big old grease ball then try this before hand. These Formula 10.0.6 masks do a great  job of cleansing the skin and lifting all of the junk out of your pores.  It's normal to feel a mild tingling - heating sensation for about 1 min after applying this, so don't freak out and wipe it all off!

Renew you was a new purchase for me and did not let me down. Its another wet mask (doesn't set dry) that soaks into your skin so there is only a small amount of residue to rinse off - so moisturising. It is a collagen mask which is a magnificent and very popular ingredient in a lot of skincare products

This Hyaluronic Acid Mask (from THEFACESHOP) is great for when my skin has dry patches and is looking dull. It is super hydrating and leaves my skin with a beautiful glow without looking greasy.  It is a sheet mask, so super quick and convenient for when I am feeling a bit lazy.

Most of these packets are only $3-4 (and under) but work just as well (if not better) than some of the high end masks I have tried. So don't knock them 'till you've tried them!

1000HOUR Eyelash & Brow Dye Kit

For the longest time I have been very annoyed/ self conscious of how light my eyebrows are. Whilst filling them in with pencils, waxes, powders or gels offered me a solution it was only temporary and I always felt like something was missing when I wasn't wearing makeup. About a year ago I had my first eyebrow tint treatment at my local salon and I seriously loved how they looked. But yet again there was a problem with this solution. The tint would only last around one and a half weeks and the treatment set me back $15.
not ideal for poor little me!

So I did a little research and found this at home "1000HOUR Eyelash & Brow Dye Kit" on the Priceline website (essentially the Australian version of Boots or Ulta). Originally $18.99, I bought this during a sale and got it for $11.39. According to the packaging I should manage to get about twelve applications from this kit . So clearly a much better set up for me.

This kit is seriously simple to use, you just mix a small portion of the two liquids provided in the little white plastic tray provided, and apply to your combed out brows (or lashes) with the plastic wand provided. On my first application I was a little nervous and only applied a light layer and left it on for the recommended six minutes.  This ended up being too light for me so I applied a thicker layer and left it on for about 15 min.  As you can clearly see in the images down below it has done a great job. I am so happy with how they look now. I feel like they frame my face beautifully!

I didn't have a reaction or experience any pain with this product. I am actually really impressed  by it and would recommend it to anyone who wants to dye their eyebrows (it does come in five different shades. I used the shade Brown-Black)
Affordable, convienient and effective.

Here is the Priceline link to the range so you can check it out - https://www.priceline.com.au/search?keyword=1000+hour+eyelash+%26+brow+dye+kit
